The first annual CARE golf tournament was a day of sunshine and laughter. According to Dave Herbst, who took on the very big job of chairing the committee, “I was very pleased with the generosity of the sponsors and donors. It seems they share the importance of community support; especially the cause of the elderly. We all hope to be there someday. Aside from the fun of golfing, it is a great opportunity to get together with friends and neighbors, and to meet others from our area.”
This event brought in $8,000 from the generous sponsors, donors, and golfers, who gave in support of CARE’s mission to serve seniors. The CARE Board of Directors and Staff are very grateful to all who come out and made this event such a great success!
